Welcome to Defender’s Mite Winter Classic—Pittsburgh’s must-play 8U event of the season. Taking place January 24–25, 2026 at Palmer Imaging Arena, this high-demand tournament is designed exclusively for Tier II 8U B and C teams, delivering fast-paced games, great energy, and an unforgettable experience for young players. With limited spots, and a family-friendly city full of things to explore, the Mite Winter Classic is all about fun, development, and making memories on and off the ice.

Divisional allocation is based on USA Hockey roster/age group classification for the
upcoming season. However, the tournament operations staff may adjust placements to
fit individual team competitiveness on a case-by-case basis.

OVERVIEW
College Hockey Exposure Showcase, taking place at York Ice Arena. This tournament is exclusively for 16U-18U players and offers an exciting opportunity for them to kick off their season and gain exposure to many ACHA and AAU programs.
The College Hockey Exposure Showcase is a round-robin style tournament, with each team guaranteed a minimum of four games. The tournament also offers players the chance to interact with coaches and scouts, giving them the opportunity to advance their careers as hockey players.
To participate in the tournament, detailed rosters and/or recruiting profiles are required. These will be sent to college coaches, providing players with the opportunity to showcase their skills and talents to college programs.

Defender Hockey Tournaments is ready to heat things up for the summer with the Chicago Summer Sizzler Tournament. This Round Robin tournament showcases 10U through 18U age levels. Games begin at 8:00 AM on Friday, please be prepared to play anytime on Friday. Schedules will be released below this page 7-10 days before the event.
Divisional allocation is based on USA Hockey roster classification. However, the tournament operations staff may adjust placements to fit individual team competitiveness on a case-by-case basis.
